Growing up, Maddin had always created art. Whether it be a performance, a painting, or even a fictional written story, she has always been an artist. Having attended and graduated from Northern Arizona University with a BFA in Studio Art with an emphasis in New Media, she discovered a new art form: film.

In addition to learning about film as an art, she discovered the world of Drag, an art form known for self-expression.

Using her knowledge of film, storytelling, and drag, she developed a unique film style that has the ability to blend art, storytelling, and expression all in one.

Not only does she create films, but she also makes oil paintings. These paintings are but another medium she utilizes to self-express and tell stories with.
